So you might be asking yourself, what’s the Tiger Song? Well if you’re up to date on your movies from the past year, then you’ll quickly recognize it. I have to admit, that Pfc. Tardy and Pfc. Norman are pretty good. Note: There’s one bad word at the end, but otherwise it’s SFW. Nailed it.

A few weeks ago, we introduced you to a Marine who could dance like Michael Jackson, and had no problem doing it while deployed in Marjah, Afghanistan. Today, we’re back with another dancing Marine in Marjah. For a few seconds, at least, it appears he let his guard down: Miley Cyrus? A worthy addition to the madness, Marine. Carry on.

In case you missed it, Marines on Okinawa, Japan, last week experienced Typhoon Chaba, a fierce storm that dumped two inches of rain per hour on the island and included winds of at least 60 mph. The storm is no laughing matter. However, Marines can find comedy in anything. Below, we give you the experiment that one intrepid Marine tried in the gusty wind. The video quality is relatively poor, but the comedy level is high: I think we could all see the end result coming a mile away, and yet that was still oddly satisfying.

Here’s the lesson of the day: If you want to end up featured on Bored Marine Video, location is key. Sure, a good video can be recorded anywhere. Marines get extra points, though, when they record it somewhere austere — say, Marjah, the former Taliban stronghold where Marines still regularly tangle with insurgents. With that, we give you a rubber-legged infantry grunt performing Michael Jackson’s “Beat It.” I bet that’s the first time the song has ever been performed in a dirty FROG suit. Any help that can be provided in identifying this dancing star gets extra points. The likelihood…

Today, we share with ye a noble, yet dumb pastime: Marine jousting. The basic equation: Free time at Twentynine Palms, Calif. + creativity = A grudge match to the death. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. Man down! Man down! Of note, of course, is that as soon as these Marines completed a ridiculous action in the name of defeating boredom, one of them screamed, “This is going on YouTube!” That culture is exactly why we ended up starting the Bored Marine Video feature in the first place.

This week, we offer up something from the recent Modern Day Marine exposition: Marines. Getting Tased. Again. Yes, it’s something of an annual tradition at Modern Day Marine, but since this video is so well edited and features nearly 20 bored Marines getting juiced within the last 15 seconds of the video, who can resist? I found this on the AfghanBlog YouTube channel, which appears to be run primarily by Cpl. Bryan Lett. He’s certainly earned the shout-out — he recently returned from a deployment to Afghanistan. One other thought: Is it me, or does the climax in this video…

For weeks, we’ve been posting bored Marine videos on Friday. One stated goal is to find material that has not been widely viewed, things that are worthy of your time and interest. In the absence of that, another goal is to find material that keeps it clean, but stands out for its originality and creativity — or at the very least, it’s stupidity. Friends, this week’s video raises the bar in all those regards. This is what happens when dedicated Marines take it upon themselves to mimick ‘Jackass,’ the MTV show that gave rise to what will soon be a third…

There are a number of certain truths that cannot be disputed. Among these: Marines love to dance with gas masks on. A quick scan of the Internet shows multiple videos along these lines. Some, like the “Tang Gas Mask Dance,” are terrifying. Others, like “Gas Mask Techno Fiend,” confuse as much as they amuse. Since we’re trying to bring you the latest and greatest in bored Marine videos, however, I give you “Clumsy,” Marine Corps-style. Yes, apparently Marines dancing to Fergie songs at Camp Lejeune, N.C., is all the rage: In his explanation for recording the video posted on…

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re back today with a fourth Friday installment of Bored Marine Video. For this week’s bored Marine video, we figured that we should change it up from dancing… to singing. We present to you the singing Marine for your enjoyment. Please note his microphone of choice. WARNING: Turn your volume down before playing this clip. There’s no vulgarity or anything NSFW, but you’ll understand why 5 seconds into it.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re back today with a third Friday installment of Bored Marine Video. Per usual, we don’t seek to judge these videos. We merely seek to point them out for their ability to entertain, confuse or terrify. Today, we bring you “Osama’s Milkshake,” which appeared on YouTube on Aug. 27. It has 257 views as I write this. For the record, yes, it is a direct play on “Milkshake,” the 2003 Kelis song that has been spoofed so many times, it even made it onto a “Family Guy” episode. As you’d probably expect, a bored Marine put a new…
