In case you missed it, Marines on Okinawa, Japan, last week experienced Typhoon Chaba, a fierce storm that dumped two inches of rain per hour on the island and included winds of at least 60 mph. The storm is no laughing matter. However, Marines can find comedy in anything. Below, we give you the experiment that one intrepid Marine tried in the gusty wind. Today, we share with ye a noble, yet dumb pastime: Marine jousting. The basic equation: Free time at Twentynine Palms, Calif. + creativity = A grudge match to the death. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. For weeks, we’ve been posting bored Marine videos on Friday. One stated goal is to find material that has not been widely viewed, things that are worthy of your time and interest. In the absence of that, another goal is to find material that keeps it clean, but stands out for its originality and creativity — or at the very least, it’s stupidity.
